Attorney Charles Shell of Chandler, AZ; ethical misfit

The state of Arizona presented Charles K. Shell with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. 

The Arizona State Bar found Charlie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a conflict of interest by representing a child injured in an auto accident and the child’s parent who was accused of a crime
• Bad-faith obstruction of disciplinary proceedings (Up yours, said Charlie!)
• Refused to acknowledge wrongful nature of conduct
• Victims of misconduct were vulnerable

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. November 2014) Charlie practices with Shell & Nermyr PLLC at 90 South Kyrene Road in Chandler, Arizona.
