Attorney Brian Di Pietro of Phoenix; thief

The state of Arizona provided Brian G. Di Pietro with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from Thomas E. Cooley Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found Brian guilty of the following misconduct.
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Converted (stole) law firm funds for personal use
  • Misconduct involved dishonest or selfish motives
In one matter, Brian converted (stole) $700 of his law firm’s funds to his own personal use. Brian also prepared a false document to hide the theft and then lied to his business partner when confronted with the theft.

Because Attorney Misfits in Arizona are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Brian was never criminally charged for theft.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Brian by gifting him a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2013) Brian practices at 4652 East Lavender Lane in Phoenix, Arizona.

Warning: Brian does not carry legal malpractice insurance
