The state of Arizona presented William B. Fortner with a law license in 1951
 
The Arizona State Bar found William guilty of engaging in the following misconduct
  1. Failed to deposit client funds in client trust account
  2. Wrote several checks for bankruptcy filing fees that were on an overdrawn account
  3. Failed to abide by client’s decisions concerning objectives of his representation
  4. Failed to take necessary steps to protect client’s interests when he was fired
  5. Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
  6. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  7. Failed to properly supervise non-attorney office staff
  8. Failed to adequately communicate with client
  9. Revealed client confidentialities w/o client’s consent or knowledge
William has been disciplined for engaging in misconduct several prior times. In one instance his law license was indefinitely suspended for engaging in a variety of misconduct. In another matter, he received a complimentary informal reprimand from the comedians sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court for falsely notarizing an affidavit.
 
As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished William by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
 
As we speak (ca. July 2012) William practices at 222 West Gurley Street in Prescott, Arizona.
