Attorney Wevley Shea of Anchorage; ethical goblin

The state of Alaska presented Wevley W. Shea with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from the University of Pacific McGeorge Law School. Lyle also received a license to practice in Kansas in 2007.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Wevley guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a conflict of interest in representing sister of former client in family dispute
• Made false statements of material fact
• Acted unprofessionally in court pleadings by using language or displaying conduct the committee described as demeaning, intemperate, frivolous and outrageous

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Alaska Supreme Court punished Wevley by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. November 2017), Wevley practices at 329 F Street in Anchorage, Alaska.
