Attorney James Loris Jr. of Mobile; ethical dwarf

The state of Alabama presented James Edward Loris Jr. with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from Birmingham Law School.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Improper contact with person he knew was represented by counsel
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
• Sent improper bankruptcy solicitation letters to clients of other attorneys
• Made misleading offers of representation in bankruptcy cases

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2014), Jimmy practices with the Loris Law Firm at 1358 Dauphin Street in Mobil, Alabama.
