Attorney James Bryant of Madison, AL; slacker, repeat offender

The state of Alabama presented James Ralph Bryant with law license in 1997 after he graduated from the Birmingham School of Law.

The Alabama State Bar Association Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client informed about status of legal matter
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to promptly notify client of receipt of client funds
• Failed to take necessary steps to protect client’s interest after termination
• Violated or attempted to violate rules of conduct or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Jimmy’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2016), Jimmy practices at244 Kyser Blvd in Madison, Alabama.
