Lynne Cheney: Today’s “Tina Fey” Award Winner

Lynne appeared (05/07/14) on the Steve Malzberg Comedy Show in an effort to pimp her new book on James Madison. However, she used the platform to again criticize Obama by falsely claiming that he doesn’t like America.

During the comedy skit, comedian Malzberg asked Lynne why Obama “isn’t proud of our history” and believes America “was built on the back of slaves and the poor,” which related to Obama’s recent comments on “the legacy of race and slavery and segregation in response to a question on LA Clipper owner

Lynne responded by saying she agrees that Obama doesn’t like America. She then went on to say:

  • “Part of it is, we forget that President Obama comes out of an academic background, you know he was teaching constitutional law.”
  • “There’s this idea on campuses that is mostly about how this country has oppressed people.”
  • “In the rest of the country, parents want to teach their kids about what an amazing piece of good fortune it is if you’re born in this country.”

It is clear that Lynne the Comic will say anything in a never ending effort of self-promotion that is specifically aimed at financial enrichment.

Congrats Lynne; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Standup Comedians”; you are far too humble.
