Rep. Don Young (R-AK): Today’s “Screwball” Award Winner

Congratulations to….

Rep. Don Young (R-AK)

Today’s “Screwball” Award Winner

Donnie has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the past forty-seven (47) years. Apparently, Donnie’s application for employment as a greeter at the Walmart Supercenter in Wasilla was rejected.

During a recent (10/21/14) speech before a group of students at Wasilla High School, Donnie opined that families and friends of victims were at fault for the state’s high suicide rates.

Donnie went on to tell the students that same-sex marriage was akin to two bulls mating.

Donnie then said there were fewer suicides when he first moved to Alaska because people worked hard, and didn’t take government handouts. Since Donnie moved to Alaska in 1959, it’s pretty obvious there were a lot less folks living there then now.

Donnie finished up by saying:

·        “When people had to work and had to provide and had to keep warm by putting participation in cutting wood and catching the fish and killing the animals, we didn’t have the suicide problem.”

·        Government handouts were “saying you are not worth anything but you are going to get something for nothing.

Congrats Donnie; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Screwballs”; you are far too humble.
