Judge Carl Sharp of Monroe, LA; alleged abuser, misogynist
The state of Louisiana provided Carl Van Sharp with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) Law School.
In one matter, Judge Sharp and three of his fellow judges are being sued in U.S. District Court by fellow judge Sharon Marchman for allegedly coverying up an alleged payroll scheme dating back to 2010, and then retaliating against Judge Marchman when she attempted to spill the beans.
In her June 2016 lawsuit, Judge Marchman stated that Judge Sharp was protecting Allyson Campbell a clerk who Marchman had accused of fraud and document destruction. Marchman alleges in her lawsuit that Ms. Campbell committed payroll fraud and destroyed or concealed court filings. (Zach Parker) Marchman’s lawsuit states in part:
All that’s left now is to see how long it takes Judge Sharp to admit his wrongdoing and agree to settle with Judge Marchman in regards to her pending lawsuit.
As we speak (ca. July 2016), Carl continues to sit as a 4th Judicial District Court Judge in Monroe, Louisiana.
