Judge Gary Henderson of Charlotte, NC; Dumbo, slacker

The state of North Carolina presented Gary Henderson with a law license in 199 after he graduated from the North Carolina Central University Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina Judicial Standards Commission found Gary guilty of the following misconduct.

• Undermined public confidence in the courts
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to maintain professional competence (Dumbo)
• Failed to issue ruling in routine court case until more than two years after last hearing

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the North Carolina Supreme Court punished Gary by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. May 2018), Gary continues to sit as a 26th Judicial District Court Judge for Mecklenburg County in Charlotte, North Carolina.
