Attorney Beverly Carswell of Bridgeport, CT; serial offender 

The state of Connecticut provided Beverly G. Carswell with a law license in 1983.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Bev guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to take reasonable steps to protect client’s interests after being fired
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter

As one would suspect this wasn’t Bev’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. She previously received one (a) complimentary reprimand and one 30-day suspension of her law license for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Bev by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2015) Bev practices with the Carswell Law Office at 924 Noble Avenue in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
