Attorney John Shannon Jr. of Phoenix; ethical gnome  

The state of Arizona presented John Adair Shannon Jr. with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from the University of Arizona Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Failed to explain significance of conflict of interest to affected client
• Had a selfish motive in continuing on with conflict interest
• Kept client uninformed about status of legal matter
• Failed to explain matters to extent necessary for client to make informed decisions
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2015) Johnny practices with the Law Office of John Shannon at 40 West Central Avenue in Phoenix, Arizona.
