Attorney Fatima Fahmy of Orlando; slacker

The state of Florida provided Fatima Rita dos Santos Fahmy with a law license in 2004 after she graduated from the University of Miami Law School.

The Florida State Bar found Fatima guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker) in two separate cases
• Failed communicate with client in child custody matter

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Fatima by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.
