Attorney David Vukelic of Steubenville, OH; ethical misfit  

The state of Ohio provided David A. Vukelic with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Ohio Northern University Law School.

The Ohio State Bar Association found Dave guilty of the following misconduct, which took place while he was employed as a part-time magistrate in the Mayor’s Court of Toronto, Ohio.

In one matter, Dave filed a motion in the Columbiana County Court of Common Pleas on

behalf of a domestic relations client. Subsequently, while presiding in his capacity as a magistrate judge, Dave’s client who was involved in the pending domestic case appeared before him in Mayor’s court on two charges for the commission of criminal misdemeanors.

Despite fact that Dave absolutely knew the appearance of his client before him in a criminal matter posed an egregious conflict of interest, he allowed the case to be discussed in his presence.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2015), Dave practices at 502 Ohio Valley Towers in Steubenville, Ohio.
