Judge Douglas Krull of Northwood, IA; moronic repeat offender

Th e state of Iowa provided Douglas Arthur Krull with a law license in 1985.

The Iowa Commission on Judicial Qualifications found Judge Krull guilty of the following misconduct.

In addition to being employed as a Worth County Magistrate Judge, Doug also does work as a private attorney.

In one matter, Judge Krull signed a search warrant for a criminal investigation involving people connected to a child custody case in which Krull was working as a lawyer for one side. Krull admitted that he absolutely knew the two cases were linked, but went about signing the warrant anyway.

Making matters worse, worse is the fact that Judge Krull was previously disciplined for engaging in the same type of conduct. In that case, Krull signed a search warrant in a criminal matter that was also connected to a custody case where he was serving as a private attorney.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Judge Krull by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2015), Judge Krull continues to sit as a Magistrate Judge in Northwood Iowa. Krull also practices law at 714 Central Avenue in Northwood, Iowa.
