Attorney Ana-Maria Carnesoltas of Seminole, FL; serial offender  

 

The state of Florida provided Ana-Maria Carnesoltas with a law license in 1979 after she graduated from Loyola Marymount University Law School.

 

The Florida State Bar found Ana guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Ana’s 1stbite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 

In one matter, went to client’s house to obtain her signature on divorce agreement. At the time the client’s husband was present in the house and Ana-Marie instructed him to sign the agreement despite the fact she knew he was represented by counsel.

 

In addition, Ana-Marie failed to provide opposing counsel with the signed agreement until she and the other parties and counsel appeared at a court-scheduled hearing.

 

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme punished Ana by gifting her with a complimentary admonition.

Ana’s 2ndbite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree 

  • Intentionally disrupted a court proceeding
  • Improperly referred to a witness during a court hearing as “a liar”
  • When judge asked her about calling witness “a liar” she denied doing so even though the hearing transcript proved she was lying

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme punished Ana by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

Ana’s 3rdbite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree 

  • Intentionally misled trial court judge
  • Failed to pay court imposed disciplinary costs of $100 per month for prior disciplinary action
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonest or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in the unauthorized practice of law

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme punished Ana by gifting her with a complimentary 10-day suspension of her law license.

 

As we speak (ca. March 2015) Ana practices with the Law Office of Ana-Maria Carnesoltas in Seminole, Florida.
