Attorney Millicent Athanason of New Port Richey, FL; ethical misfit

The state of Florida provided Millicent B. Athanason with a law license in 1989 after she graduated from Stetson University Law School.

The Florida State Bar found Millie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Office trust account not in compliance with rules
  • Engaged in poor bookkeeping practices
  • Wrote two checks on insufficient fund account (rubber)
  • Failed to safeguard client property
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Millie by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2015) Millie practices at 9020 Rancho Del Rio Drive in New Port Richey, Florida.
