Attorney John Bernardo of Pittsfield, MA; ethical gnome  

The state of Massachusetts presented John Anthony Bernardo with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from Western New England University Law School.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in an egregious conflict of interest
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to disclose his interest in trust on financial statement he filed in a paternity action
• Failure to disclose interest in trust allowed Johnny to pay $79 per week for child support rather than the $230 he subsequently paid

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2015) Johnny practices with the Law Office of John A Bernardo at 100 North Street in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
