Attorney Jane Buffaloe of Chattanooga; lying thief

The state of Tennessee provided Jane J. Buffaloe with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from the University of Nashville Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Misrepresented (lied) about status of case to client
  • Misappropriated (stole) client funds
  • Initially failed to respond to client request for return of files
  • Provided client with partial list of active accounts and payment histories
  • Jane received funds on client’s behalf that she failed to reemit to the client

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Jane by gifting her with a complimentary 3-year suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2015) Jane practices at 608 Wood Lane in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
