Attorney Bernard Edwards of St. Louis; ethical leprechaun

The state of Missouri presented Bernard F. Edwards with a law license in 1974.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Bernie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to provide competent services (Moron)
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with clients
  • Charged and/or collected an excessive fee
  • Failed to safeguard client property
  • Improperly failed to decline and/or terminate representation
  • Failed to expedite litigation
  • Lacked candor when dealing with tribunal
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Bernie!)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on Disciplinary Counsel punished Bernie by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2015), Bernie practices at 8431 Midland Blvd in St. Louis, Missouri.
