Attorney Vincent Gonzalez of Cleveland; repeat offender

The state of Ohio presented Vincent Ferdinand Gonzalez with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from Cleveland State University Law School.

The Cleveland Metro Bar Association found Vinnie of the following  misconduct.

  • Failed to notify clients he did not have legal malpractice insurance
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Improperly withdrew representation w/o court permission
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Vinnie!)
  • Failed to maintain required records for each client
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Refused to acknowledge wrongfulness of his conduct

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Vinnie’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Vinnie by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2015) Vinnie practices at 2535 Scranton Road in Cleveland, Ohio.
