Attorney John Carpenter of DC; ethical gremlin

The District of Columbia presented John E. Carpenter with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Johnny disclosed client confidences and secrets, without client consent, in his motion to withdraw as counsel to plaintiff in a medical malpractice matter.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Court of Appeals Board punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. April 2016), Johnny practices at 910 17th Street NW in Washington, DC.
