Attorney Jon Springer of Bend, OR; ethical goblin

The state of Oregon provided Jon G. Springer with a law license in 1986.

The Oregon State Bar found Jon guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide written fee agreement charging flat fee to client
• Failed to obtain written agreement providing that flat fee paid by client would be earned upon Jon’s receipt of same
• Failed to take any action on client’s case
• Failed to adequately communicate with client
• Failed to respond to repeated client attempts to contact him
• Failed to advise client of status of legal matter

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Jon by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2015) Jon practices at 990 NW Brooks Street in Bend, Oregon.
