Attorney J. Kevin Hunt of Oregon City, OR; ethical goblin

The state of Oregon provided J. Kevin Hunt with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from Northwestern University Law School.

The Oregon State Bar found Kevin guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to explain matter to extent necessary to allow client to make informed decisions regard the representation
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Kevin!)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Client was vulnerable victim

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Kevin’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary admonishment for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Kevin by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2015) Kevin practices at 1145 Sunny Lane in Oregon City, Oregon.
