Attorney W. Clifford Girard Jr. of Phoenix; ethical leprechaun

The state of Arizona presented W. Clifford Girard Jr. with a law license in 1969 after he graduated from the University of Arizona Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found Clifford guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to promptly provide accounting of fee claim to client
  • Failed to comply with client demand to cease billing against funds client had previously paid to Clifford
  • Misled (lied) to client’s mother by indicating that a refund of unearned funds would be forthcoming

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Clifford by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. February 2015) Clifford practices at 335 East Palm Lane in Phoenix, Arizona.
