Attorney John Loon of Phoenix; ethical misfit

The state of Arizona presented John Van Loon with a law license in 2012 after he graduated from Ohio Northern University Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to take necessary steps to protect client’s interest after being discharged
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to expedite client’s litigation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2015) Johnny practices at 2492 North 24th Street in Phoenix, Arizona.

Caution: Johnny does not carry legal malpractice insurance
