► Attorney Kevin Sweeney of Phoenix; repeat offender
The state of Arizona presented Kevin B. Sweeney with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from the University of Missouri Law School.
The Arizona State Bar found Kevin guilty of the following misconduct.
Kevin’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree – 2009
- Engaged in the illegal practice of law while license suspended
- Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Kevin!)
As a consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Kevin by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
Kevin’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree – 2014
- Bad faith obstruction of ethics investigation (Up yours, said Kevin!
- Failed to pay Arizona Storage Inns for 5 months storage fees (deadbeat)
- Failed to communicate with agents for Arizona Storage Inns
- Failed to safeguard client property
- Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
- Failed to properly maintain or return files to clients upon termination
- Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
- Failed to keep clients informed of status of legal matters
- Failed to timely withdraw representation when required
- Failed to expedite client litigation
- Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
As a consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Kevin by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. February 2015) Kevin practices in the Phoenix, Arizona area.
