Attorney Samp Hopkins Jr. of Albemarle, NC; moron

The state of North Carolina provided Samp Hopkins, Jr. with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Samford University School of Law.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Samp guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to advise client date legal claim would be time barred by tolling of statute of limitations
• Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
• Failed to read opposing counsel mail advising him of date client claim time barred
• Negligence led to client’s legal claim being barred

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Samp by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2015) Samp practices with Hopkins & Hopkins PC in Albemarle, North Carolina.
