Today’s “Rodney Dangerfield” Award Winner

This isn’t the first Award presented to Dick. In the past, he has been the recipient of two (2) Awards in various categories. Those awards are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.

During a recent (December 2014) stint as guest host on the Washington Watch Comedy Blog, Dick laughingly chastised Right Wing Watch (RWW) as a “gay thought police” group run by a bunch of “pinheads” who have wrongly smeared him. (Brian Tashman)

While speaking with fellow comedian Craig James of the Family Research Council, Dick said Right Wing Watch writers “distort me all the time.”  As evidence Dick alluded to a fictional (Dick fabrication) post by RWW entitled “Land Equates Gays with Klansmen” that spoke about the penalties handed down to a baker who refused service to a gay couple as being synonymous with punishing an African-American baker who didn’t want to serve a Ku Klux Klan induction ceremony.

Of course spewing forth comedic one-liners has always been one of Dick’s finest attributes even if they are total fabrications.

And lastly, for Dick to claim he was smeared and/or defamed is really special given the fact that he is “Defamation proof.”

Congrats Dick; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Standup Comedians”; you are far too humble.
