Billy Kristol: Today’s “Bullshit” Award Winner
Congratulations to…. Billy Kristol Today’s “Bullshit” Award Winner This isn’t the first Award presented to Billy. In the past, she has been the recipient of six (6) Awards in various categories and/or the subject of one (1) opinion piece. Those awards and opinion piece are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories. During a recent (December 2014) interview with Newsmax TV comedy host Steve Malzberg, Billy decided to come to the defense of his Chicken Little buddy Dick Cheney in regards to the CIA’s torture program. Billy laughingly claimed that CIA prisoners did not experience “real torture” because they were only subjected to “unpleasant” interrogation that “you recover from and seems to have no lasting effects at all.” (Brian Tashman) Apparently, Billy Boy doesn’t deem dying from torture at the hands of the CIA to be something that one cannot recover from. Unfortunately, the prisoner’s name wasn’t Lazarus! Billy went on to urge 2016 GOP presidential candidates to defend the CIA by following the example of Dick “Big Dick” Cheney in his repeated media rants promoting torture. Wouldn’t it be great to see how long Wimpy Billy would last if he was subjected to a little water-boardinig? Or maybe Billy would find it more humane if he were hung upside down for a day or two.
