Attorney Marshall Hunzelman of Des Moines; tax scofflaw

The state of Iowa presented Marshall John Hunzelman with a law license in 1981.

The Iowa Supreme Court Disciplinary Board found Marshall guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to file state income tax returns for three consecutive years
  • Field false answers on attorney discipline and security questionnaires
  • Failed to file federal income tax returns for three consecutive years

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Marshall by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2015), Marshall practices with the Great West Casualty Company in Des Moines, Iowa.
