Attorney Gregory Humphrey of Ft. Madison, IA; ethical gremlin

The state of Iowa presented Gregory James Humphrey with a law license in 1977.

The Iowa Supreme Court Disciplinary Board found Greg guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker) in at least six estate matters
• In six estate matters falsely asserted that tax clearances had been obtained
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
• Failed to deposit client funds in interest bearing accounts as required

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Greg by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2015), Greg practices with the Humphrey Law Offices at 627 Avenue G in Fort Madison, Iowa.
