Attorney Michael Papa of Schenectady, NY; convicted druggie

The state of New York presented Michael Papa with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from Albany Law School.

The Second Departmental Disciplinary Committee found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Mike pleaded guilty in Albany City Court to a misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and driving under the influence.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Second Departmental Disciplinary Committee punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary censure. 

As we speak (ca. January 2015), Mike is employed by New York State Workers Compensation Board’s General Counsel’s Office at 328 State Street in Schenectady, New York.
