Attorney Joseph Danis of St. Louis, MO; lying loser

The state of Illinois presented Joseph Peter Danis with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from St. Louis University Law School.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Joey guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Joey found it acceptable to engage in a conflict of interest when he represented a plaintiff in a class action against Chrysler Corporation, having formerly represented Chrysler in a substantially related matter.

In addition, during the course of federal litigation where Chrysler had sued Joey for breaching his fiduciary duties, he submitted false discovery responses.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (April 2016), Joey practices with Carey & Danis LLC at 8235 Forsyth in St. Louis, Missouri.
