Today’s “Humanitarian” Award Winner
This isn’t the first Award presented to Pete. In the past, he has been the recipient of fifteen (15) Awards in various categories, which can be viewed by going to the listed categories at the end of this article.
Shortly after the U.S. Senate released the report on CIA torture, Pete decided to feign outrage by attacking the reports findings. Towards that end, Pete made an appearance (ca. 12/10/14) on the Newsmax Comedy Network where he was interviewed by comedy host J.D. Hayworth.
Pete laughingly claimed that the CIA didn’t torture anyone. He went on to call their enhanced interrogation techniques “mild” and cast aspersions on those who criticized torture for possessing a “hate
Pete apparently didn’t read the entire report because if he had he would have discovered that one prisoner lost an eye from being tortured. Maybe Pete feels losing an eye is a “mild” form of torture since the fellow still has one eye.
One must wonder how Pete was able to classify torture as being “mild” in regards to the prisoner who died of hypothermia while being tortured. His form of death was rather “mild,” right Pete.
Sure would like to see how Pete would act if he lost an eye or was water boarded? Since he finds it perfectly acceptable, then he should volunteer to be water boarded or have one of his eyes poked out so that he would then be an expert on the subject.
