Attorney Celestine Dotson of St. Louis, MO; ethical dwarf

The state of Missouri presented Celestine Dotson with a law license in 1999.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Celestine guilty of the following misconduct.

·         Improperly withdrew funds from client trust account for payment of fees that had not yet been earned

·         Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

·         Failed to maintain complete records of client trust accounts

·         Charged and/or collected an unreasonable fee (cheater)

·         Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on Disciplinary Counsel punished Celestine by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 2-year suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on Disciplinary Counsel didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Celestine.
