Judge Robert Jennings III of Harrisburg, PA; potty mouth loser

The state of Pennsylvania presented Robert Jennings III with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from the University of Oklahoma Law School.

Bobby succeeded in duping the voters in the Harrisburg area into electing him to the bench in 2004.

The Pennsylvania Court of Judicial Discipline has charged Bobby with the following misconduct.

• Demanded monetary contributions from court constables during election campaign
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Inappropriately handled citations filed against him and his associates
• Made sexual remarks about female court employees

In early 2009, Bobby demanded that Constables Luis LeGrand and Wilbur Snow make contributions to his reelection campaign in the amount of 10 percent of what they were paid in 2008 for their services to his judicial office.

Subsequently, LeGrand paid $2,000, which was less than 10 percent, and Snow paid $1,135. As a result of their payments, they continued to receive assignments from Bobby’s office.

About one year before putting the arm on LeGrand and Snow, Bobby told former Constable Sylvester Wilson he would be required to pay 10 percent of his earnings to Bobby’s reelection campaign. When Wilson refused to pay, Bobby ordered his office manager to no longer give Wilson work assignments from his judicial office. (Legal Intelligencer)

When Bobby was confronted about this matter by Nolme LeGrand, that he could not require these contributions, Bobby replied:

• “I wear the black robe. It’s what I say. If it wasn’t for me, they wouldn’t be here.”

In mid-November, 2014, the Pennsylvania Surpeme Court ordered that Bobby be suspended from the bench pending the outcome of the disciplinary proceeding pending against him.
