Attorney Janet White-Steiner of Phoenix; repeat offender

The state of Arizona presented Janet L. White-Steiner with a law license in 1992 after she graduated from Arizona State University Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found Janet guilty of misconduct as set forth below.

  • Refused to acknowledge wrongful nature of conduct
  • Wrote checks on nonsufficient account (rubber)
  • Failed to safeguard client funds
  • Failed to comply with trust account rules and guidelines
  • Failed to properly maintain client ledgers
  • Failed to perform monthly three-way reconciliations of trust accounts
  • Faield to properly supervise office staff

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Janet’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. She was previously disciplined for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Janet by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. December 2014) Janet practices with Steiner Family Law at 2375 Camelback Road in Phoenix, Arizona.
