Attorney Kenn Hanson of Phoenix; ethical dwarf

The state of Arizona presented Kenn M. Hanson with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from the University of San Diego Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found Kenn guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

In one matter, Kenn was employed by a business entity that held itself out as a provider of “mediation services”. The business entity also represented itself to the public as a partnership. However, the business entity was owned by a non-lawyer and the services provided by the business entity constituted the illegal practice of law.

In addition, the business improperly acquired clients through direct solicitation of named litigants from court records within the State of Arizona.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Kenn by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. December 2014) Kenn is employed by the Maricopa Public Defender’s Office at 620 West Jackson Street in Phoenix, Arizona.
