Attorney Onofrio Puleo of Utica, NY; ethical misfit

The state of New York presented Onofrio Joseph Puleo with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from Syracuse University Law School.

The Disciplinary Board found Onofrio guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Entered into business transaction with client that conflicted with interests of another client
  • Failed to obtain written consent from client re: conflict of interest

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Board punished Onofrio by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. December 2014), Onofrio practices at 329 Genesee Street in Utica, New York.
