Attorney Ernest Eynon II of Cincinnati; ethical goblin

The state of Ohio presented Ernest Alfred Eynon II with a law license in 1969 after he graduated from the University of Cincinnati Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found Ernie guilty of misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Ernie!)
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
  • Failed to maintain client funds in interest bearing account

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Teddy by gifting him with a complimentary stayed  1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Ernie.

As we speak (ca. November 2014) Ernie practices with Taliaferro & Eynon LLC at 1 West Fourth Street in Cincinnati, Ohio.
