Attorney Frank Cannatelli of Wallingford, CT; repeat offender

The state of Connecticut provided Frank P. Cannatelli with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from the University of Bridgeport Law School.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Frank guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Frank represented two clients in a criminal matter. Frank failed to communicate to his clients, in writing, the basis or rate of his fee, whether and to what extent they would be responsible for any court costs and expenses of litigation, and the scope of the matter to be undertaken.

Frank so acted despite the fact that he absolutely knew he was required to provide such written communication to his clients (victims).

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Frank by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to provide client with written fee agreement
• Failed to provide client with written notice of settlement agreement
• Knowingly violated or attempt violate Rules of Conduct by assisting or inducing another to do so
• Failed to remit settlement funds to client that lawfully belonged to the client

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Frank by gifting him with another complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. November 2014) Frank practices with the Law Offices of Frank Cannatelli at 8 Research Parkway in Wallingford, Connecticut.
