Attorney James Wiard of Chicago; lying cheat

The state of Illinois presented James Gerard Wiard with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from Loyola University Law School in Chicago.

The Disciplinary Commission found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Converted funds of client unable to manage her own affairs
  • Misrepresented (lied) that he had removed funds from client’s account and placed them into a trust account for her
  • Later repaid funds to client with personal check that he altered to make it appear as though it had been drawn on a trust account opened in the client’s name

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Spence by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. November 2014), Jimmy practices with the Law Office of James G. Wiard at 53 West Jackson Blvd in Chicago, Illinois.

Warning: Jimmy does not carry legal malpractice insurance
