Judge Michael Torregiano of Avon, NY; ticket fixing ingrate

The New York Commission on Judicial Conduct found Judge Torregiano guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Judge Torregiano became involved in a bitter argument over his annual salary wherein he claimed he was entitled to a raise due to the fact that he issued a favorable ruling for a Town Board Member’s daughter in regards to a speeding ticket.

During a Town Council executive session meeting involving salary negations, Mike said in part:

“I took care of that ticket for your daughter and this is the thanks that I get.”

In this instance, we have a Certified Loser complaining that his illegal act of “ticket fixing” did not result in him obtaining an increase in his undeserved salary.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the New York Commission on Judicial punished Mike the Fixer by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. November 2014), Mike continues to sit as a judge on the Avon Town Justice Court in Avon, New York, which is about 90 miles east of Buffalo.
