Today’s “Moron” Award Winner

This isn’t the first Award presented to Lamar. In the past, he has been the recipient of four (4) Awards in various categories and/or the subject of one (1) opinion piece. Those awards and opinion piece are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.

Lamar is yet another loser lawyer that learned early on that it was difficult to earn a dishonest living practicing law after receiving a law license from the State of Texas in 1975. Consequently, Lamar decided to go into the second most honest profession in the U.S. of A., politics.

Over the past 33-years (ca. 1981 to 2014), Lamar has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough. He spent 2 years as a member of the Texas Legislature and the last 31 years as a U.S. Congressman.

In January 2013, Chief Comedian for the House of Representatives, Speaker John Boehner appointed Lamar as Chairman of the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology despite the fact that he doesn’t possess any usable scientific knowledge.

During a recent (11/07/14) interview on Bloomberg TV, Lamar was queried about the latest report from the United Nations' Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Lamar initially said he had not read the report, but went on to laughingly claim he knows enough to come to the conclusion that “most of the predictions have been wrong.”

Bloomberg host Cory Johnson interjected by telling Lamar:

• “Congressman, its science. It’s 800 scientists.”
• “It’s not some random guy making a prediction.”

Lamar the Moron responded by saying, “There are a lot of other scientists who disagree.” Of course the Moron never provides the names of the “other scientists” because there aren’t any other than those that are on the payroll of Big Oil.

The Moron then said, “I only read summaries” (UN report).” He then went on to claim the authors of the reports as “clearly biased.”

It stands to reason that Lamar would ignorantly deny that carbon emissions are causing climate change, and that is because he has been a reliable lackey for the oil industry in Texas for the past 33 years.

Congrats Lamar; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Accomplished “Morons”; you are far too humble.
