Attorney Christopher Petros of Hudson, WI; lying loser

The state of Wisconsin presented Christopher Stephen Petros with a law license in 2009 after he graduated from William Mitchell Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Registration (OLR) found Chris guilty of the following misconduct.

·        Submitted false evidence

·        Made false statements to ethics investigators

·        Failed to notify client about a hearing

·        Lied to a court through an associate

·        Failed to correct misrepresentations he caused to be made to court

·        Failed to timely notify clients of their appellate rights

·        Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

·        Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

·        Failed to timely return client’s property

·        Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license. 

As we speak (ca. November 2014), Chris practices with the Petros Law Office at 432 Second Street in Hudson, Wisconsin.
