Attorney Sharon Roberts of Tallahassee; ethical leprechaun

The state of Florida provided Sharon B. Roberts with a law license in 1998 after she graduated from Nova Southeastern University Law School.

The Florida State Bar found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

• Misconduct involved multiple offenses
• Violated or attempted to violate rules of conduct or assisted or induced another to do so
• Misconduct involved selfish or dishonest motive
• Committed a criminal act
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Knowingly and callously disparaged, humiliated, or discriminated against jurors, litigants, witnesses, court personnel and other attorneys on account of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, age, socioeconomic status, employment or physical characteristic
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonest or misrepresentation
• Illegally listened in on Dept of Homeland Security calls
• Arrested on felony charges of illegally intercepting communications

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary 91-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. November 2014) Dave practices with The Law Practice of David Petrano at 11502 SE US Highway 301 in Hawthorne, Florida.
