Attorney Mark Thornburg of Indianapolis; drunken convict

The state of Indiana provided Martin James Thornburg with a law license in 1998.

The Indiana Disciplinary Commission found Mark guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Committed criminal act adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
  • Pleaded guilty to driving under the influence with endangerment

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Mark by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 90-day suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Mark.

As we speak (ca. November 2014) Mark practices with the Indiana Farm Bureau, Inc. at 225 South East Street in Indianapolis, Indiana.
