Attorney Robert Szilagyi of La Porte, IN; druggie, cheater

The state of Indiana provided Robert Charles Szilagyi with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from Valparaiso University Law School.

The Indiana Disciplinary Commission found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct. 

• Failed to refund unearned fee
• History of substance abuse (druggie)
• Illegally signed ex-wife’s name to quitclaim deed w/o wife’s knowledge or consent
• Illegally signed secretary’s name as notary on quitclaim deed w/o secretaries knowledge or consent
• Misconduct due to selfish or dishonest motive

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. November 2014) Bobby practices with the La Porte County Prosecutors Office at 809 State Street in La Porte, Indiana.
