Attorney Karl Truman of Jeffersonville, IN; ethical misfit

The state of Indiana provided Karl Truman with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from the University of Louisville Law School.

The Indiana Disciplinary Commission found Karl guilty of the following misconduct. 

• Failed to explain matter to allow client to make informed decisions re: representation
• Made employment agreement restricting right to practice after termination of relationship

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished David by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2014) Karl practices with the Karl Truman Law Office at 420 Wall Street in Jeffersonville, Indiana, which is in the Louisville, Kentucky area.
